הפעם נאדיר את הנשים (חס וחלילה לא נדיר אותן...) ונעלה חיוך קל על השפתיים.

בספרו של אבשלום קור, 'הגיע זמן לשון', מובאים בין היתר הדברים הבאים:

"כפר סבא" אמנם נקראת על שם סבא ולא על שם סבתא, אבל עובדה שאומרים "כפר סבא גדלה" / "כפר סבא התרחבה", ולא אומרים "כפר סבא גדל" / "כפר סבא התרחב", כי דברים טובים אומרים בלשון נקבה.

עובדה ש"כישלון" זה בזכר, ו"הצלחה" זה בנקבה.

אמנם יש בעברית מילים שאפשר לומר בשני המינים, כמו: שמש, דרך, ועוד, אבל גם בזה העדיפות לנקבה. למשל אומרים: "רוחו טובה עליו", אבל ההפך מזה בשיר"רוח עצוב". כי כשזה עצוב, זה בוודאי בזכר.

בעשרת הדיברות כתוב לא תגנוב, לא תרצח ולא נאמר לא תגנבי, לא תרצחי – כי רק הגברים עושים את זה...

בכלל, הנקבה היא דבר מבוקש יותר, יקר יותר, אפילו בתחבורה! בזכר יש אוטובוס שזה דבר המוני, אבל לאניני הטעם – מונית.

"יום" זה בזכר, יש שישה ימים בשבוע, אבל השבת זה בנקבה, שבת של מנוחה (גם מנוחה זה בנקבה), שבת של נחת (גם נחת זה בנקבה).

רק חשבו על זה...

בשבוע שעבר שוחחתי עם קולגה לעבודה שסיפר לי מה עושים כשהקופאית בסופר עושה טעות. אז קראו ולמדו:
עשיתי קנייה של המון מוצרים (כולם כמובן היו במבצע) ופתאום ראיתי שאת 2 חבילות הגזר שקניתי, הקישה הקופאית במחיר של $1.29 כל אחת. ואז נזכרתי בשיחה שהיתה לי באותו שבוע בעבודה ולכן לא אמרתי כלום. שילמתי והלכתי ישירות לשירות הלקוחות customer service. הראיתי להם את העיתון שלהם, שבו היה כתוב $0.99, את חבילות הגזרים ואת הקבלה. ללא שאלות ובפחות מדקה קיבלתי בחזרה $2.60. למה?? כי אם הם עושים טעות, הם מחזירים את מלוא הכסף חזרה !!!
כשסיפרתי לבן שלי על זה, הוא דאג ושאל אם מורידים את זה לקופאית שעשתה את הטעות. הסברתי לו שהמחשב הוא שעשה את הטעות וכי הם אפילו לא ביקשו את פרטי הקבלה, רק את הסכום ששילמתי עבור הגזר.

הדוגמה הזו היא רק בקטנה...כמובן שהם מחזירים גם סכומים גדולים יותר. בכל אופן, את הגזרים קיבלתי בחינם (הבנות עכשיו יושבות לידי ומכרסמות)...
