While the McAfee SecurityCenter window is still open, you should request and complete an update successfully by doing the following: 1. Click the Updates drawer. 2. Click Check for Updates. Run a quick scan After you know that you can access the Internet and your system is protected, perform a quick scan: 1. Open McAfee SecurityCenter by double-clicking on the M icon in the Windows system tray. 2. Click the Real-Time Scanning drawer. 3. Click the Scan your PC option. 4. Click Run a quick scan. If you still experience issues, continue to the next Resolution. Resolution 3 IMPORTANT: If your security products are provided by a broadband Internet Service Provider (ISP), such as AT&T, Comcast, and Time Warner, perform the steps to remove your McAfee products, then log in to the account for your ISP to download and reinstall the current McAfee software. If you are headed to the eye doctor soon to try out contacts, you might want to print off a certificate for a FREE 30 day supply of contacts. I stopped by our Vision Center to inquire about their eye exam and if they would accept this 30 day trial certificate. She said that they provide a generic pair of contacts with the exam (that are only good for a week) but that you do need to bring in the certificate if you want to try a specific brand. I showed her my certificate and I go back next week to try out the contacts.

Be sure to use the product locator on their site to find a participating eye doctor near you (there were 5 in my town alone).
