I am not sure if I am happy or sad about this change but Walgreens will be ending their Register Rewards program within the next few months while launching the new Walgreens Balance Rewards on September 16th.
Starting 9/2, you will be able to sign up online atWalgreens.com/Balance or sign up in stores starting 9/16. You will then earn points that can be redeemed for purchases both in-store and online.
5,000 points = $5
10,000 points = $10
18,000 points = $20
30,000 points = $35
40,000 points = $50
One good thing about this new program is that the points won’t expire as long as you remain active by shopping at Walgreens at least once every six months and redeeming your points within three years.
I am sure we will learn a lot more about this program as it get closer to September but I wanted to give you a heads up about this program change !!!
