I can’t tell you how many times a week I hear ”I don’t have time to coupon”.

So many people would rather just assume then take the time to understand how things work. I think by nature we are all afraid of what we don’t know. The fear of the unknown holds us back from doing so many things. I am proud to say couponing has changed my life . In this photo of my receipt you can see I saved $424.00. I was in the store for under 1 hour and it took me about 20 minutes tops to prepare for this trip. So an hour of my time got me $424.00. Think about that , one hour. What do you make an hour? Granted it’s not cash and I can’t pay my bills with $424.00 worth of product but I can pay it forward. I have all the stock I need for my family so we can eat for free and I now can spread the coupon wealth to others that are not as fortunate. As I drove home with my stash from this trip all I could think about was who I could help with my new found loot. People watch reality TV and assume couponers are greedy and spend 60 hours a week on couponing. Granted there may be a very small percent of nutty couponers that are greedy and spend to much time doing it. 98.9% of couponers that I know are the most generous people you would ever meet. They spend a few hours a week couponing and have a huge stockpile. Look at your couponing friends vs your non couponing friends who are the givers? Couponing allows you to not only help yourself but help more people than you could ever have imagined. Couponing can change your life too.

Now look at that receipt again and ask yourself is couponing worth it?
