I just love a frozen mixed drink during the summer but making them can be quite messy sometimes. Also if you are going to the beach or out on a boat, a frozen mixed drink really isn’t very practical but I have found the solution!!! Daily’s Cocktails are perfect because they go straight into the freezer as a pre-made mixed drink pouch with the alcohol already inside it. It freezes into a delicious slushy drink that you can either drink straight from the pouch or pour it into a glass for a slightly classier look.
I found these at the Walmart Marketplace liquor store on a hanging rack and there were 6 different flavors to choose from: Margarita, Strawberry Daiquiri, Mojito, Lemonade, Pina Colada and something with Pomegranate (which I really don’t like the taste of Pomegranate so I didn’t look too long at it). I ended up buying 4 of the flavors (Margarita, Strawberry Daiquiri, Lemonade and Pina Colada) and LOVED them all. I honestly don’t know which was my favorite.
The texture was perfect and the amount of alcohol was actually slightly stronger than I was expecting from a pre-made mix (maybe not as strong as I would make it from scratch but not bad at all) The price was only $1.97 per pouch which isn’t too bad compared to what you would pay for a mixed drink at a bar.
I definitely will be grabbing some of these and freezing them for the next time I head to the beach. The beach that I go to allows alcohol but no glass so these pouches are PERFECT !!!
