Newton Parks and Recreation Registration for
Summer Camps - 2014
The 2014 Newton Parks and Recreation and Newton School Department Camp Fair will take place on
Sunday January 26, 2014 (snow date Sunday February 2, 2014) at the Newton North High School in the
cafeteria from 12:00 – 4:00 pm. Stop in to learn more about our camps and see what new programs have been added. Please Note: Newton Parks and Recreation WILL NOT be accepting registrations at this year’s Camp Fair.

Online registration for our camps will begin on the Wednesday after the Camp Fair (January 29 or February 5 if there is a snow day). Some camps will fill quickly, so please plan ahead. Please note that we only accept VISA or MasterCard.
To register online, go to www.activityreg.com click on Massachusetts, then Newton Parks and
Recreation. In the top right hand corner of this page, click on Log in next to the padlock. You will be
given four choices, I don’t know my password, I would like to change my password, I would like to
change my email address I use to log in, or I would like to create a new account.
If you have registered online for our recreation programs and used a valid email, the system will
search out all participants with that email and put them into one family account for you. If you are
new you will need to enter each family member into your family account from the login screen, all
using the same email address.
After completing this, click on account next to the login prompt. This will bring you to your family
page and show you all of the members of your family that have had any activity and what that activity
was. You can register directly off of your family account page by using the registration link at the top
of the page, select your activity, add to shopping cart, and you then have the choice to continue
shopping or check out.
Using the family login will speed up your registration times since all you will generally have to change
is the participant’s name, not all the address etc….and adding to our shopping cart will also enhance
the process making it one check out and one payment.
In an effort to avoid over-loading our registration system, there will be staggered registration start times for some of our programs.

We WILL NOT accept registrations or payments over the phone.
A limited number of spaces will be reserved for paper registrations for program participants that only wish to pay by check or do not have access to the internet. If the program fills a waiting list will be started automatically, there is no charge to go onto a waiting list. Please do not mail your registration in before the registration start date or it will be returned to you.
